Man Flies Plane into IRS Building in Austin, TX

Today a complete and utter crackpot flew a small passenger airplane into an IRS building in Austin, TX. The alleged nutjob left a suicide note (online!) in which he eloquently stated his logical decision-making process is careful, easy-to-follow terms. Okay, I made that up — the guy rambled about how taxes and the IRS were bad, big business is bad, the fact that government-run health care wasn’t passed is bad, President Bush is bad, capitalism is bad, and the only way to change was for him to die. John Hawkins at Right Wing News has come up with an interesting response to the recent DailyKos poll that is attempting to make all conservatives look like nutjobs. He took a poll among several conservative blogs, usig questions from the Kos poll, to see if conservative bloggers were nearly as nutty as the Left thinks. The results speak for themselves.

Those Nutty Right-Wingers

A recent poll from the DailyKos purports to show just how crazy Republicans are. Some highlights include the assertion that high numbers of Republicans believe that President Obama wasn’t born in the US, that they think he is a Socialist (Gasp!), and that Sarah Palin was more qualified to serve as president than Barrack Obama.
