Anarchists Plan to Crash Tax Day Tea Parties (Updated)

It always amuses me how anarchism is supposed to be opposed to a massive growth of government and intrusion of government into people’s lives, yet so many self-described anarchists are die-hard socialists.

Jawa Report covers the call to fight the evil racist class oppressors of the Tea Party:

On April 15th thousands of right-wingers will attend rallies in cities and towns across the United States. The organizers of this nationwide day of protest call it a tea party. This tea party movement that emerged only a year ago is a coalition of conservatives, anti-Semites, fascists, libertarians, racists, constitutionalists, militia men, gun freaks, homophobes, Ron Paul supporters, Alex Jones conspiracy types and American flag wavers.[…]

1. Organize counter-protests against the tea party demonstrations, same time, same place. This is probably the best option. We need to get in the streets on April 15th and show the tea party movement that there are lots of people out there who oppose their agenda.

2. Get individual tea party protesters to leave the right-wing and move to the left politically.[lol] That would involve passing out stuff like this at the tea party demonstrations:

3. Ignore the tea party movement. This is the worst option because without anyone opposing them they could easily gain power.

Because cobbling together a bunch of not-nice sounding positions and randomly attaching them to the Tea Party movement is much easier than actually bother to, oh, you know, listen to what Tea Partiers are saying. But I guess when you follow a tyrannical socialist philosophy that classified all social problems as due to racism, everything you see looks like racism.

Gateway Pundit also comments on these idiots.

Nice Deb also comments on the planned shenanigans (I just love how the spellchecker knows shenanigans!), in the midst of her plug for the upcoming April 15 Kansas City Tea Party:

Be ready for hijinks.  As for the “anti-racist action” – be ready to patiently explain to these goobers that the tea party movement is neither racist, nor race obsessed. Everyone is welcome.
I’d like to know what type of anarchist supports the expansion of government power. I thought they considered “the State undesirable”. Whatevah.
Despite their claims to respect freedom, distrust government, and encourage free speech, the primary goals of the anarchists will be to disrupt the Tea Parties, prohibit Tea Partiers from speaking, and endorsing and supporting the government erosion of liberty and the redistribution of wealth. These so-called anarchists are die-hard socialists who want to tell other people how they should live, but don’t want to be held to any rules — even the ones they claim to stand for.
I’m expecting these people to come in with signs bearing racist slogans in an effort to discredit the Tea Party, or some movement top block pathways so people can’t get by or shout down speakers. Prediction: the only incidents of violence or racially charged rhetoric will be from these people.
And now for some lulz: the anarchist group staging these counter-protests, Infoshop, has an office in Overland Park, KS, and a Facebook group. If you’re not familiar with the Kansas City area, Overland Park is a suburb of Kansas City, the second largest city in Kansas, and one of the wealthiest cities in the area. The people that live there are not hard up or oppressed. In short, what we have is an office in a wealthy, nominally conservative city, that is most likely catering to spoiled rich kids who encountered radical leftist rhetoric in college and now want to play “anarchist rebel” instead of getting jobs. It must be great to “stand” for something that allows you to justify all of your crude behavior and still get the benefit of sleeping in a nice bed and eating food compliments of your well-off imperialist pig parents, eh?

Thanks to Kansas City talk radio host Darla Jaye for linking to me via Facebook! Darla has a show weekday evenings on 980 AM in Kansas City, and if you’re in the area and for some reason you haven’t heard her, I recommend the show. If you aren’t in the area, you can still listen online.
So welcome Darla fans! Also check out these related posts on the Crash the Tea Party website and my adventures in lurking there.

I think it’s great how Teabaggers are finally starting to look into Anarchism. I hope you all take this opportunity to learn about the split between Bakunin (one of the first Anarchists) and Marx, Lenin’s mass murder of Anarchists during the Russian Revolution, and the Anarchist CNT-FAI labor union’s heroic struggle against Fascism during the Spanish Civil War.

Hey, didn’t I already read this spam on like three other sites? I though anarchists were supposed to be known for their originality and individualism. Of course, they’re also supposed to be known for disliking government and authority, yet seem to love implementing socialist policies.

Hey, Ran. Would you define “teabagger” for me? After that, would you please reword your comments?
