The Conservation of Liberty

Doctor Zero rebuts a dismissal of the Tea Party movement by New York Times columnist David Brooks. Brooks dismisses the Tea Party as a knee-jerk reaction to authority by baby boomers who grew up as rebels in the 60’s, and blasts the movement’s core ideal as a belief in “mass innocence.”

Doctor Zero proceeds to rip this criticism apart. A length rant, but well worth the read, as it very clearly states the underlying assumptions of conservatism.
